This August we took a short trip to Carsbad, California with my family. We had a great time at the beach. Sam would have been so proud of Emmet, he tried surfing. Thanks to his uncles Chris and Chance who gave Emmet some pointers. I also surfed a little (the small waves) and got up! Pre-law school, Sam and I went to the beach dozens of times in the summer. It was nice to be there, Sam would have been proud of his beach bum babies!!

i'll refraining from whining about how you didn't call or visit me while here... but i will comment on emery's bathing suits, rylee has the green one and avery has the blue.
Way to go kira on getting up on the surf board!
