Sam's youngest brother lives a few minutes away and took my kids for a few hours this morning. He was heaven sent!! I needed a break from Emmet and Emery and they needed one from me. They were so excited to see uncle Blake. I was amazed at how excited Emery was. They came home with a Mother's Day gift for me that they had picked out. They were quite proud of themselves. Emmet couldn't understand why I couldn't open their gift today, so of course I opened it. They picked out everything, including the superman gift bag. There were two packages of Pokemon cards (thank you Emmet, I always need Pokemon cards) and these darling plates with matching place mats. We used them tonight for dinner. Emmet has already swindled the Pokemon cards!!
Lastly, the weather is warm enough to swim. And swim we did!! The water is a little cold at first, but you get use to it. It's funny, when I think a day is going to be long and hard, someone always calls and invites us to do something. Today was one of those great days!!

How nice of the young men and your brother-in-law. I almost cried just reading it. Some people have great timing. Nice to have someone help out your kids with mother's day. I on the other hand, still take care of myself. I ordered myself a new lens for my camera. :)
I am so glad it was a good day! Lots of love, and thinking of you always.
love the yard. i know what you mean about saturdays. chad worked saturdays in california and i always hated it. i am so thankful swim season is here! i'm all about filling my days lounging at the pool. too bad we can't swim together. someday...
I too wish I lived closed so I call you to hang out. Dallin and Emmett would get along great talking about Pokemon cards.
Happy Mother's Day! I am so glad Emmett gets to enjoy the gift too. Your yard looks great!! I hope you enjoy it!!
Love the yard! Your garden will be fantastic.
Emmet must love his mom to pick out pokemon cards...he's not messing around! It reminds me of the year I got guitar hero for Mother's Day.
We love good Saturdays too! Sometimes they are hard to come by.
Happy Mother's Day.
I look forward to coming over tomorrow for your music class, and to see the backyard in person! What a treat to have them do that for you...
I too am glad that Sam's brother thought to take the kids out for you and take care of Mother's Day. Heaven knows, you deserve it!!
Thanks for today.. I have already asked Jenny Flake and Jessie Thompson, both in your ward if they want to come to a trial class and they said yes. I tentitively said this Tuesday and 6:30, and wonder if that works for you! I think this program is so neat, I even posted about it today on my blog! :) P.S. Consider Luke registered, I just want him to try it before I totally commit.
